Microbial analysis

BioPres has successfully harmonized, optimized and automated microbial analysis in QC laboratories so they live up to current ISO, BAM, and USP standards. 

Services include assistance on introduction of rapid Methods, and designing, reviewing, and optimizing environmental monitoring plans and air quality evaluations to support your HACCP plans..

Our specialty is analysis and control of filamentous fungi in high hygiene zones.

Preservation

BioPres is dedicated to optimizing production performance and reducing losses, primarily by preventing and controlling microbial hazards in food and biotech products along the whole value chain. 

Translates microbial ecophysiology knowledge into practical guidance in composition, pH, Aw, preservation, processing conditions, packing and storage. Shelf-life validation with challenge studies.

Our Expert Consulting Services

  • I bring extensive experience as a microbiologist with a strong scientific base in food mycology, food microbiology, and hygienic design for more than 30 years.
  • As a Global Special Matter Expert on Microbiology and Hygienic Design at Chr. Hansen and CP Kelco, I supported all production sites with theoretical and hands-on knowledge.
  • On existing production lines, I provided recommendations for improvement, and collaborated with engineering, production, and QA to implement changes.
  • On new production facilities, I supervised Hygienic Design Risk Evaluations and assisted in drafting user requirement specifications, design, and validations.
  • Active in EHEDG. Started DTU Center for Hygienic Design in 2014. Currently I serve as Chairman of EHEDG Regional section Denmark.
